what is this feeling...?

it's that time of year again. the time when about 590 students (female) look like hookers with really odd sense of clothing. yes, it's step sing. stage make-up galore. tonight is the first night of actual performances and we couldn't be any more thrilled than we are now. campus is buzzing with talk over who's going to win sweepstakes this year and who's show is the best/morst creative/funny/unique. i start getting ready around 3 today and curtain call is at 7. the roomie's going to tonight's show so she can put her confusion to rest. i've told her nothing about the show and she saw the costume the other day and was like "wow.... any ideas i previously had are out the window."

yup, that's how confusing it is. i personally think we have the best show, but i'm biased. our competition this year is alpha delta pi. yeah, shocker... they're pretty good. all uniform and sharp. freshmen were decent though you had trouble understanding what they were saying sometimes. the frats.... well, let's just say they need to enunciate more and do less pelvic thrusts. dudes-a-plenty (independent men) are great. i love them to death. they actually look like they're having fun instead of being forced to participate. phi mu is cute but not very energetic (lots of slow songs). zeta tau alpha is creative with their colors and how they do that. it's cute. chi omicron is together and all but nothing stands out in my mind. alpha omicron pi... same as ChiO. the dance team was great. they always are. i liked it. they do a lot of Fosse. anyway, two more days of all out step sing before i get 30 hours of my life back! yay! it's been fun but i really need to focus on my homework/schoolwork more. and i really need to catch up on my convos.

have a great day!

hey Kait! I know that you've got that program wrapped around your fingers and have done a great job at it! I am trying to learn the Spanish language this weekend before we have our mid term in that class and write about 15 pages by Tuesday evening. I think that I went insane when I registered last semester...taking two writing intensive classes at the same time. I owe you a visit since I am loser and didn't come see your show.
