well, i gave up last night around 1 am because i had reached the end of my paper and discovered that i only had five pages written and that's including footnotes. how the heck am i going to get ten pages of text when i barely get five pages?
anyway, i went to the prof's office this morning (about half an hour ago actually) and explained to him that no matter what i did, no matter how much fluff i added, there was no way i was going to achieve the ten page limit. he looked at me, nodded very understandingly, and said i was a special case.
O_o
special case? apparently my historian is shy. there's very little written on his personal life though he writes plenty on the tudor period in england. heck, 20 books and 67 essay compiled in 4 volumes the guy definitely has enough to say.
my prof is such a nice guy. i've enjoyed his class a great deal. he's given me an extension (i told him i could have my paper in by tomorrow morning but he's giving me till thursday). wow, i've achieved the impossible! i managed an extension! *cheers* now, i'm going to edit my annotated bibliography so i can actually get a decent grade on it and i'll turn that in today instead.
