i bought a watch

I can't believe it's August. Where's my time gone? Life's been pretty boring recently. I go to work, go to school, and go to sleep. That's about it. I suppose it could be worse and I could be living in my own personal version of Hell.

Yesterday, I bought a watch. I decided that I was tired of taking random guesses on how long my breaks were at work and I needed a water resistant watch so I wouldn't have to keep taking it off and forgetting it someplace obscure. I'm pleased with it. It's an Armitron. It's water resistant up to 165ft (not that I would ever go that deep) and has crystals where the numbers are... I show! My choices were giant numbers or digital or the crystals. I can't stand the giant numbers, never owned a digital watch (and never plan to) so I decided to go with the crystals. Needless to say I didn't pay anywhere close to that for my watch.

I also bought a pull for my ceiling fan. I was tired of standing on my toes to turn off and on the light. I meant to look for new curlers while I was out but got side tracked by food. I'm still losing weight, if you're curious. Not as fast as I was in June but it's coming off.
