Okay, so it's not raining and no one left the cake out. In fact, the song that's currently playing is "Bang on the Drum All Day."
Anyway, I was going to post about cake. Tonight I have attempted--for the third time--to bake a cake from scratch. Actually, I've made several cakes but have only ever been successful with carrot cake and chocolate cake. For whatever reason, any other kind of cake is a failure.
I won't know if my success rate will change until tomorrow afternoon. I got started on baking a little late and so by the time I finished the whole process I'd already eaten far too many sweets for the day. I will exercise restraint. In fact, I think I might go to the gym before church tomorrow...
