consternation

i'm having an i-hate-internet day. why? because the stupid thing keeps timing out. how am i supposed to read these ebooks when every five minutes the internet times out for ten? *frustration*

so anyway, i have a bridal shower to attend on sunday. no, it's not my own. *eyeroll* i have to figure out what kind of gift i'm taking for the blushing bride. what kind of gift do you bring to a bridal shower? *sigh* the internet is not helping me in this search. i'll have to think about it some more. perhaps the roomie and i can combine since we're poor college students...? would that be bad?

research is happening on my thesis. good times...

edit (3:09 pm 4:15 pm): yeah, so i've got a new layout up. not exactly a "fall" layout but i like it. maybe i'll create a fall layout and save this for spring... fall layout! i might do more tweaking to it later but this is good for now.
