merry Christmas!

The stockings were hung on the windows at the last minute
and will remain empty because stocking stuffing mom didn't.

Mom has done stockings in years. I can't remember the last time she did. Christmas is tonight! W00t! Yes, I know it's still Christmas Eve but my Christmas is tonight after church, after dinner, after dessert. My dad's flying à la Paris tomorrow afternoon sometime and he'd like to relax on Christmas before he has to fly out. Christmas presents are all wrapped (finally!) and they're under the faux tree. In a flurry of tape and wrapping paper, everyone's gifts finally reached the "wrapped" status. I'm still working on a few gifts for friends but I won't see them until after Christmas so they can wait. Two down, one to go.

You know how I was talking about failure earlier? Yeah, I most definitely failed. A big fat F is now on my transcript to forever follow me till the end of my days. Not to mention I really killed my other grades by putting all my effort into the class I failed. Yup, I've got an awesome cumulative GPA of 2.578 which, considering I failed a course and got not one but two C's, isn't that bad. I think my parents are finally calming down about my terrible semester. I'm hoping to bring my GPA up to a 3.0 with Jan term and Spring semester. Hoping and praying I get good grades since I've changed majors now and will be in a field that is more to my fitting.
