Okay, so what have I done for the past month and why haven't I updated? Well, that's a good question and I don't really have an answer for it but here I go. The evil, mind-eating, energy-sucking, sleep-depriving monster known as "school" took over. Yes, I have fought valiantly against the beast and it has nearly overtaken me. Umm... yeah....
This semester's almost complete (amazing!) and I'm working on wrapping up my classes and organizing my life for the time after this semester. I will officially no longer be in the Comp Sci department after this semester. Sad times. I'll miss them. I loved the department but I just don't think it was for me. I was far too stressed when I was in there and I was stressed even when I wasn't. Hopefully next semester will be better. I think it will be at least.
Thanksgiving was about a week or so ago... yeah. The Wednesday before Thanksgiving a tornado came ripping through town and knocked down two trees (one of which missed our house and my room by about 3 feet) and knocked out the power for most of the day. I had a great Thanksgiving and was most relieved to have a break. It gets stressful here sometimes.
Christmas is coming up and the goose is getting fat please put a penny in the old man's hat. I don't know why you'd put a penny in the hat. You can't by a thing with a penny nowadays. The penny is pretty much useless and I don't know about you, but the idea of eating a goose isn't too appealing to me. Christmas is coming though. I've been trying to get my Christmas shopping done but I don't know how much luck I've had with that. I got Katherine's gift, the roomie's gift, one of my suitemate's gift, and Lisa's gift but I have yet to buy anyone in my family gifts or my other suitemate. Poor suitemate. She probably won't get anything until after Jan term because I don't think I'll get another chance to go out. I do know what I'm getting a few other friends though. Muahahahaha! I can't say because I don't know if they read this or not.
I bought myself a Christmas gift. Yeah, I know. Shame on me! I couldn't resist. I don't have any mugs and I've wanted one for the longest time that when we went out today I had to buy it. It's Eeyore. I love Eeyore. He's so... so... I don't know... huggable. So yeah, it's purple and has Eeyore on it. I love it.
Anyway, that's about it. As you can see, my life isn't too exciting. Just the same old same old.

School is a wild and unruly beast that does live to take up all of ones time, I totally agree! My Christmas shopping has been non existent so far, but I need to get something for you, Lisa, Hannah, my mom and dad, my suitemates, and some of my friends from work, BEFORE I leave Friday for the end of the semester!! Well I hope that you have a marvy last two weeks of class and finals, and best wishes on those nasty wasty things called finals. See ya in PTC!! - J
