has anyone seen gas prices lately? saturday it was $1.96, today it's $2.19. that's a $0.13 increase in 4 days! that's not only going to cost me an arm and a leg to fill my car but also half my paycheck. what happened? did gasoline suddenly become even more scarce? are they trying to force everyone to go broke so that way they have to walk to work every morning instead of wasting gas by sitting in traffic? kinda reminds me of that car commercial where everyone's running around with a set of lights strapped to them. hard to explain but i think it's rather funny.

let's see, if it takes me 30 minutes to drive to work going at an average of 45mph, how long would it take if i walked/jogged it? *grimace* far too long. might as well camp out in the office and only go home on the weekends.
soon, men will be proposing with promises of filled gas tanks instead of diamond rings. i, for one, am getting tired of forking out $30 every time i need to fill the car.
