i went shopping today. why does it seem like whenever i get bored i go shopping? i didn't originally go out to shop. the original goal was to get a haircut but the place wasn't open today so while i was in fayetteville i decided to take a look-see. i bought four shirts, a new purse, and eight pairs of socks.
i've been searching for a pair of white dress shoes for about three months now. it's quite a challenge if i do say so myself. i found a pair of white shoes that i absolutely loved. they were what i was looking for but, wonder of wonders, they didn't have my size (6.5-7). alas, they only had a 6 and only one shoe in that size. no, not one pair of shoes. one (1) shoe. where's its mate? doesn't it get lonely? the poor shoe. i imagine the poor thing was abducted since no shoe would willing leave its sole mate.

ha ha! corny jokes. i ended up not buy shoes because i didn't want to waste money on a pair i didn't like.
mission update: i'm down to only needing $720. w00t! next meeting's sunday as well as commission. i'm still trying to decide if i want to drive all the way to b'ham for the commissioning service. there's a meeting at 3:30 so i could leave after church here and still get there for the meeting but should i drive all that way for the commissioning service? i still have a few days to decide. i'll think on it.
