toes

have you ever sat and stared at your toes for a long period of time? i know it sounds weird but i have. for some reason i find it fascinating. i mean, look at them! who would've thought they played a role in balancing and walking? also, what's the purpose of toenails? i've got sexy feet.

so, you want a real update? hmm... i'm still $1,000 behind in support. so i guess there goes half my summer pay. ukraine is drawing near and i can't find a book to read. trust me, i've looked long and hard for something to read on the plane and i can't find anything. i've asked everyone i know who reads and no one's giving me a book recommendation.

i went to the grocery store last night to purchase milk. i chose the wrong checkout line. i got stuck behind this elderly couple. that in and of itself isn't so bad. what was bad is that they were the type of people who coupon shop. you know the kind of coupon shopper i'm talking about. the kind that only buy things when they have coupons. i don't mind using a few coupons but at some point it reaches the rediculous stage. so, i chose the wrong line and the elderly gentleman in front of me used not 5 coupons, heck, he didn't even use 10 coupons. he used 40! forty coupons. all i want to do is buy my half gallon of 1% milk! finally, he finishes and starts to walk away but he doesn't get further than two steps before he's back asking, "are you sure you used all forty of my coupons? will you check?" and then he and the cashier proceeded to examine with great interest his receipt. grrr....

oh, on the way home from work today i was mesmorized by the person in front of me's lawn service equipment. it was cool looking! what can i say? i was stuck in an office all day.
