you know it's bad when you sit down to your midterm, read the essay and go "huh?" yup, that's exactly what happened. i studied, i'm pretty confident, i take the test and reach the essay and stare blankly at the thing. it's not until the prof stands up and says "oh, i should probably tell you what the essay says" no, really? in short, it's "write a history on the history of history since the beginning of TIME!!!!!!! oh, and be sure to cite examples. one hour, go!"
