books

So, even though I work in a bookshop and get a pretty decent discount on purchases, I no longer buy as many books as I used to. Part of it is because I don't have the money available for such things but the majority of it is because I just don't have the time to read that I used to (or when I do have the time I don't have the energy). Anyway, I made a spontaneous purchase yesterday at work. I found a book of Hans Christian Anderson's fairy tales... a huge book of fairy tales. I admit it, I bought it. Fairy tales and folk tales have always fascinated me.... perhaps that stems from my love of history. There is a branch of history that deals with folk tales and lore... a very small branch but it's there. Anyway, now I'm working my way through the book. I figure I'll read one or two each night depending on length.
