OCD: counting

I find myself counting. A lot. Maybe it's just a cling on from work (where I have to count everything all the time) but it's got me counting at the strangest times. Tonight, I got home from small group and just for the fun of it, I decided to count up all my pennies... so I did. After that I decided to count up all my nickles and dimes... so I did. And then my quarters (which didn't take nearly as long).

Here's the count down. Over the past year, I have collected:

$8.27 in pennies
$36.90 in nickles and dimes
$6.00 in quarters (probably more because I keep about $10 in my car for parking meters)

bringing the total to: $51.17

Wow, I should totally deposit that into the bank.

I save my change, too. I have about $60 hanging out in a brown bag in my room that I plan on using someday... who knows when. Nothing wrong with counting change. Now, if you count ceiling tiles, floor tiles, lines on the road, or other similar items, that could be indicative of a problem.
