the toilet's fixed

have no fear! the toilet is fixed (yet again). who needs a plumber when i, kaitlin, can fix the toilet. not only can i fix the commode, i can also cook, clean, and do the dishes! wow, talk about quality.

. . .

doesn't that just scream "date me!"?

anyway, besides the domestic escapades, i thought i'd actually tell everyone what's going on in my life instead of the news since y'all can watch the news on your own.

classes are wrapping up. they end wednesday and exams begin friday the 13th. ah yes, that dreaded "bad luck" day. the university doesn't really care what day of the month it is, they just want to torture you with finals to assess how much you've been educated since the beginning of the semester... or perhaps they're evaluating your short term memory and recall skills? i know for a fact that the majority of the students will forget what they "learned" within two months. it's not fair. testing is not a fair evaluation of my knowledge. what, then, is your preferred evaluation technique? you ask. i don't really know. ask me again at a later date.

let's see. tonight i have bible study. we're doing a study on the book a mary heart in a martha world. let me tell you something, i am a "martha" all the way. of course, a lot of people are so at least i'm not alone.

i'm looking to see if i can make it home on the 14th for a friend's wedding. ah, the joys of having no transportation while attending school out of state. i think the roomie can take me home since she's taking exams early to start her job/mission trip on time. so that's me getting home, now getting back is the hard part. maybe i can borrow the car... nah, then when mom picked me up at the end of the year i'd be driving by myself for 3 hours. unless... i wonder if i can fit all my crap into the civic. *ponders* i might, if i take home some of the bulky stuff....

oh! an update on the mission trip. *realization dawns* oh no! i was supposed to get a visa picture! what am i gonna do?! ok, calming down. i'll think of something. the update: i've sent out my support letters so they should be getting to everyone within the next day or so if they haven't arrived yet. so far no one's e-mailed me questions. i have gotten a response though so... yay! i've got something!

time for dinner. i'm starving. of course that's what happens when you don't eat anything at lunch because it look like melted plastic.

whoa, check this out:

do you ever feel like that? i do.

Hehe, that's a funny thing with the bricks. I don't think you get your stuff home in the civic hon, you brought everything in the suburban! And don't you have a couch AND a fridge to get home? good luck on that! I want to start finals on friday! That's not fair! Now I'm gonna pout about how unfair it is that you are done with school a month before I am! *pouts*

actually, the couch is going to stay in someone's basement over the summer and the fridge belongs to the school. all i need to bring home are my clothes and my computers along with various other knick knacks.
