about time!

last friday (i believe it was) i decided that i wanted to turn one of the documents on my laptop into a pdf. now, it's not something i usually do but i was bored and desired to experiment (that's not the whole story but it's close enough). so i pull up this 339 page word document, change a few fonts, and then try to pdf the thing. after seven unsuccessful tries i was becoming annoyed and frustrated. it wasn't working like it was supposed to and it was really beginning to tick me off. so, after downloading more crap and installing it i finally got it to do something. i figured that it'd take a while to convert a 339 page word document into a pdf. i didn't think it'd take four days to convert it. that's right, it finally completed itself some time after 2am and before 8:30am. not sure the exact time but it took 3 days and 4-10 hours. my poor lappy is so overworked. i have yet to see if the pdf converted/saved correctly.

i'm currently at work and in about 3 hours i will leave work, go to church to help with the kiddies, eat dinner, and commence my packing for i leave on friday to return to my school, my prison, my home. ah yes, the joys of higher education will once again abound in my life. hopefully the year goes better than last year. i can only take one hell year at a time (as funny as that sounds) and it better not continue to this year.

oh yeah, and my bro's a bum who said he was going to do something and that was 6 days ago. yeah, way to go about keeping your word. true, it wasn't all that important but still. it's the principle of the matter. anyway, i fixed it myself so don't worry about it.
