some battles pop up in the strangest places and wars are fought on interesting ground. not all battles and wars are man verse man. there's man verse self. man verse nature. and, of course, man verse beast. my most recent battle could be classified under the latter. yes, i fought a vicious fight the other day. there were many casualties but i came out the victor in the end. after all, isn't the outcome what counts?
i visited a friend in montegomery over the weekend and while i was parted from my vehicle, ants invaded. lots of them. it was a surprise attack and it took me a while to regain the ground they had conquered. for two hours, i drove 78 mph and waged war on the critters that invaded my turf. like i said though, i came out the victor and to the victor goes the spoils... i.e. saturday i'm washing the car and clearing the battle field.
stand firm! don't let them win!
