well, i made it through another "hey day" today. i went to dinner on the dirt (or is it dirt for dinner?) and met up with all the people i haven't seen since may or earlier. it was nice. fun seeing everyone again and catching up. i think i about died when i was updated about some of these people. my old suitemate is engaged. what the hell? another two friends are engaged to each other. what the hell? and an acquaintance is engaged. what's with all these people getting engaged over the summer? where's my man? where's my ring?
anyway, the suite's going well. we're supposed to get the first bands of hurricane katrina tomorrow and it's possible classes may be cancelled due to bad weather (dang, i was trying to use an SAT word but i can't spell). so, new orleans will probably be no more once katrina hits. really sad but what can you do? it's not like i can stop the hurricane or turn it away.
and i've just had tea and caffeine knocks me out and i can barely think straight so i'm going to bed. good night world! and stay safe during the upcoming floods and power outages.

on another note, kait, i'm glad you didn't get engaged over the summer. that would mean i'd have to protest or something because that would be way too soon. but anyway, i love you :). thats gotta count for something.
WOW! More engagements!!! Dude, next time we talk you gotta tell me which one of the old suitemates got engaged..I have a guess..but I want to see if I am right! Ah, but Kait..if you got engaged I would have no one to grumble and complain about not having a fiance with!! Well, know that when you do get engaged I will be extremely happy for you!!
Ah..wow..that is so crazy about the hurricane. poor NO. It must be intense if classes might get cancelled tomorrow. Hope you atleast have power this time around...tho I did hear last hurricane it was fun hanging out with people.
Well...i offically had my toliet turn on me today and it broke and flooded my bathroom with 2 inches of water. As I was mopping up the mess with all my clean and used towels, I could not help but think of your toliet experience. Damn all college toliets, they hate me. The people to fix it "might" be coming in three days...hm. Hopefully your people are faster cause you are paying alot more than me.
